You're asking an arbitrary question. No one can tell you what a fair price for anything truly is. The fair price is what the market will bear. If you'd be happy trading that stack of cash for the car, it's fair to you. If it'd ruin your life to blow your life savings on a Camaro, when Lil Johnny needs braces, then it's probably not fair. Know what I mean? There's no right answer. The right answer for one person could be completely wrong for another.

Somewhere I have a text file of my criteria I was looking for in a thirdgen, from back when I had only one, and it'd just been totaled by a young kid not watching where he was going....

I remember the specific line of text "Any color but white". I bought my Formula. Since then I've had a white 86 T/A, and a white 84 Sport Coupe. Often it turns out, the cars pick me, not the other way around.

I think it depends upon the year. It's one of my favorites for 91-92 Camaros, especially with the white-insert Z28 wheels. It's a very appropriate and clean look for the early 90's. For Firebirds or 82-90 Camaros, I don't like white as much. I prefer the early cars in darker or more period correct two-tone 80's-ish combinations; the IROCs look good in decisive, solid colors like black, blue, and red.

 

That's what my first one was...'91 RS with the optional 16" wheels in white.

I am 95% sure I inquired about this car several years ago and there was something fishy about the title.The seller's name wasn't on it as I recall. It seemed like a cool but neglected car otherwise and '89, N10, 5 speed, G92s don't come around every day. The seller sent me a couple videos of him doing burnouts up and down his street, I guess to prove it's bonafides. If anyone is interested in it, make sure you look into the title situation.
