History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
The problem is, the people doing the "customizing" believe they have added value.
Yep....hence the $8,800 price tag lol.
The very, VERY sad thing is......the car itself doesn't appear to be in THAT bad of shape. The driver's seat isn't all shredded...and that's usually the worst one. There is hope for the ol girl. Someone sure made it a TON of work to ever make it right, though.
At least we have the peace of mind knowing that it's at least NOT a G92 car......as long as that's the original speedometer, anyways.

Found this one today. No where near as nice as last one I posted but guessing it was a twin at birth aside from t tops! Same maroon color under hood. Listed as TBI but it’s clearly a Tuned Port. Looks a little rough but maybe mostly straight and solid.
Saw this one on FB while cruising marketplace. 86 Trans Am. Has had treatment added to look like a GTA. Interesting interior color clean car think it would look better with silver wheels however. Nice ride either way
83 Z28 L69 5-speed. $6,500, 70k miles, NM car so it’s all mint underneath. Clean interior, sharp color combo, but someone converted it to TPI. what do you do with car like this? Put it back to carb, or drive it as is? Save it or make a daily fun car? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...code=undefined
This is a beautiful car, but 27.5K for an LG4 car is nuts
Its pretty crazy money... Goes to show people want the look. I think it’s the color combo that sold the car. People get over the 155hp when they get thumbs up everywhere they go. Black and red is sharp, one of my favorite combos...
I don’t know if I was completely convinced it was 3k mile car... Said true mileage unknown but odometer showed 3k miles. My 87 would’ve shown like that car in pics with 100k on it.

just goes to show it doesnt matter what engine it has if it has 3k miles and is a 5 speed .. probably not going to drive it .. a few weeks ago this same car but with 31k miles and tpi and lear siegler interior only got bids to 10,900

87 5-speed... posted before I believe but it’s back up for sale again.
66k miles for $13k
guy says “very good condition but don’t expect a show car”. The pictures aren’t very good so I’m expecting it has lots of dings, clearcoat issues, dull paint and the nose is all scraped and chipped... Shot of the engine bay looks dirty... Price is cheap though!
Did this thread finally die? Or is just the wrong season to window shop for thirdgens?
ive seen plenty this year but people on here kept complaining about everyone posting cars for sale so i stopped .. looks like this thread is now junk 5 speed cars for sale

That car used to be by me. I've posted pics of it on here from car shows before. The owner swore up and down it was an H.O. car. It's a GREAT looking car in person. The dude wanted like $15,000 for it
He never told me anything about the prior salvage title, lol
1991 5 speed z28 with 31k for 19,995 price is a little steep but who doesnt love a red third gen with grey leather

I agree, keep posting them! I love seeing them and if others don't want to see them, they don't have to look at the thread! Thanks for searching and posting them!
I just found out the guy that owned that Yellow IROC traded it, a ZO6, and some cash for a Viper. So, they could have easily shown him a bigger number on the car on trade..
