Nice one ray! I've been noticing nice, lower miles IROCs are starting to appear for reasonable money. If I didn't just buy another car, I'd really be considering this one!

 

This one needs front seat covers, OEM wheels... Looks like the cat is done but in many states you can run a straight pipe on an 87... Lose the steering wheel too..

this car has been for sale for awhile now .. probably to tacky for most .. in the right hands it wouldnt take much to make it look stock again ..

 

Id love to have that Iroc and drive it every day after swapping those ugly *** wheels and fixing a few cosmetics I think it would be a fun daily driver.

This one is local to me. Seems a little steep on the price though.

 

Price isn't bad, but not much in the way of pics. Plus there is always something fishy about ads that have pics of the car hosed down.

 

Yeah, the price isn't terrible but for what it needs I think it's a little high. I gave $4300 for my 91 Z28 and it sounds like it's in better shape than that IROC.

I agree with the "wet" pics as well. You see that a lot with cars that have issues. Although the seller did call out quite a few items in the post which you don't get often.

 

The wet pics give the paint a sort of 3 or 4 minute long new clear coat.

That is really weird that it has an 85MPH speedometer. I dont think I have seen any 87 IROC's without a 145MPH one.

 

My '87 LG4 IROC vert had one too.

 

Weird, my current one is an LG4 car with a 145 and I have had two others in the past that have also had 145's.

I picked this up Sept 1, 2019 ::: 1985 IROC-Z 5.0 Liter H.O. with a T5




Local car, it has been within 100 miles since new (I got tons of paper work) and it will remain local. This image was on the Craigslist posting, I'll have to get some better pics. I got the car with barely 35K miles on it, always garaged and very well cared for. Only issue is it needs a new A/C compressor, that's it. I like the rear window washer & wiper, that's an option you don't see often.

I've been putting the miles on it, and it brings back memories of the 1980's when I last had a 3rd gen Camaro. These Rock!
