Good luck on that one. I am sure lots of members have that, but they had to pay for it. This board frowns on licensed software theft and sharing. You would be better off just purchasing that .tdf file from Tuner Cat. WinBin stuff is freeware so it doesn't matter. Don't mean to sound like a jerk but thats the way this board operates and thats the way we want it.

Actually, we don't "encourage" software sharing at the DIY Prom Board, as it P.O.s software suppliers.

However, TunerCat is very good about giving an older test version of a particular calibration during the evalutation period if you want. Just send them an e-mail and mention that you heard this from the guys at www.thirdgen.org that they will let you have demo tdfs.

Also, if I were you, I would look at the $6E (1989) version instead. The $6E is much better defined. And I would look at using one of the 1989 BINs including the ARAP BIN. Many guys with MAF have converted to the ARAP and found it much better. I also know a few people that found the ARAP a bit finicky - possibly they didn't tweak it well.

I do know the MAF Scalar Tables in the ARAP Bin result in best BLM/INT values on the cars I have looked at. Even if I use a different $6E BIN as a base, I usually recommend setting the MAF Scalar Tables to the same as the ARAP to start with.

Use EVERYTHING for the $6E for the 1989 - forget the $32B. The 1989 setup has the best MAF Scalar Tables.

I switched from $32 to $6E and everything works great. There are alot more things to tweek in the $6E code. I am currently working with the ARAP bin and am making big improvments. Do a search on ARAP and check it out. If you decide to switch we can help you every step of the way.

Go here ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/bin_...%206E%2094/6E/ and get the ARAP 6E bin.

I also switched from $32 to $6E and have not done any further tunning due to bad weather. But hey if it runs no better than at the moment I'm well chuffed.
Only problem I have corrected is the TC locked up too early for my liking. i know our cars are low reving but 700 rpm is pushing it. Maybe it is because I have a 2.77 axle ie high geared.
Last week I picked up a Toshiba Libretto laptop for $300 it is only the size of a video tape, colour screen and battery lasts a couple of hours. Will be ideal for tunning with.

All the best

Simon
