My local source for Eproms dried up. I need to get some more, and have not had any luck finding them on the internet (except for used stuff).

Do any of you have a list of companies to use? Especially ones that can take internet orders?

In all the years I've been prom burning, I've never had a new EPROM. I'll stick to pulls, thank you

 

Desert86ROC, I also live in the Phoenix area. I have got my 27c128 eproms from FRYS Electonics. They carry about a dozen different ones, but not the 29c256 s.

 

I've got about 20 or so I don't need. Let me know if you're interested, I could shoot you some. Several 256s also.

 

TC, I never thought to look at Frys... Duh! Grumpy, I dont know, I am just picky I guess. I could use pulls myself, but I like new.

The chips at Frys Electronics were only $2.99. They were 27c128 @ 150ns

 

Doc, why are you wasting your time with 27C128s? The Atmel 29C256s work PERFECTLY and last almost indefinitely.

I would never use an eprom again when I can use a Flash Prom.
