can anyone point me in the right direction for what the codes mean... ie. head knowledge, archive, internet posting.

also, are the terminals marked "A" and "B" so I know which ones to cross?

thanks

SB,

From instructions to decoding, this should have almost everything you need (except the jumper):

GM Error Codes.pdf

You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access/view/print the file (see link below).

Well, i gave it a try tonight but it only flashed the 1-2 code. Never gave my a problem code. Guess I'll just keep on rollin' and see what happens.

Thanks for all of your help.

SB,

The ECM will retain DTCs for the last fifty engine start cycles. After that, the "old ones" get pushed out the back end of the memory stack to make room for any new ones.

You could conceivably have started the engine fifty times since the code was set, and it was thereby erased.

Next time, be a little quicker, or keep your "diagnostic tool" with you, in the console or ash tray, or taped to the back of the ALDL connector trim cover.
