F Lamp sensor lacation for digi dash

Anyone know exactly where the two lamp sensors are for the digital dash D.I.C?

I've asked this same question on 3 sites and got no answer! C'mon folks! I get an "F Lamp" and R Lamp" on my screen -- but all lights work just fine! Without ripping the car apart -- there's gotta be an easy way to LOCATE the sensors that trip the faults. Help!

i found mine to be very sensitive.when i replace a blown bulb i have to replace pairs at the same time.otherwise it tells me i've still got a bulb out.presumabley because the current draw and voltage drop are different on either new or different brands.don't know if that's why your asking or not.

gah.. i have the same thing. every freaking bulb on my car is new save for the headlights (which both work) and i still get "f lamp" intermitantly. i just want it to say "ok pontiac system" like it used to do.

you'll have to replace both headlights at the same time to stop it.when i burn one out i just buy two bulbs.luckily my other car uses the same bulb so i never buy bulbs for it.

I went ahead and changed both headligths and all 8 rear bulbs -- no more "R Lamp" or "F Lamp" faults -- just "system okay" -- first time I've seen that since I bought the car. The rear sockets were all gunked up -- a good cleaning a fresh bulbs all around did the trick. No more chasing the illusive "sensors"!!!!

the gunk on the rear lamps was dielectric grease.you need to replace it to keep the sockets from corroding.

Yep -- I shoulda included that -- new grease in all the sockets as well. Thanks! Maybe we've saved someone the headache I went through wondering where the sensors were -- when I shoulda just spent the hour and a half cleaning and changing bulbs. Works like a champ.
