computer read out number plz help

my car just up and died in my back yard i have ran the coumputer it shows code 43 iv checked for spark it has spark i check the injectors it's injecting fule. but it sounds like it's stuck advansed what do i do what dose code 43 mean on a 1992 camaro RS with a 3.1 v-6 manual. and what can i do to fix it is their a sensor

can anny one help me please i got more info i was told that it retards the spark and if it's not reading right it can advance the spark like it was running so that it wouldent start is this ture please help

ok i looked it up in my cilton it says as i quote

( The knock sensor is usually mounted to the right lower side of the engine block. When spark knock or pinging is present, the sensor produces a coltage signal wich is sent to the ecm. The ECM will then retard the ignition timing based on these signals) dose anny one know a thing about thease or had to replase them

i guess what im asking is where in the world is this on and enigen it say's if removed raidator fluid will be drained

Knock sensor is on passenger side of the block down kinda low, it has a single wire connector going to it and is about the size and shape of a small child's top. Have your new sensor in hand and ready to install, remove the old sensor and QUICKLY put the new one in, you will get wet from this and probably loose a quart or so of coolant.

thanks for telling me where it is at i plan on draining the fluid before becuase i dont have a new one im going to make sure that the one i have is broke or if i accexidently dis-connected when i changed the clutch

ok im in shop class right now i am looking at the motor and i cant find the knocking sensor can you possibely post a pic or get more detailed of where it is at it is barried rember i have the 3.1v-6 manual

dont need it anny more

well sence no one relly helped me anny more than what the book did i called the chevrolet dealrship thay couldent help me eather iv looked all over this enigen i think and iv pulled every sensor out and there isent one that when i take it out looks like the one in the digram or leaks radiator fluid so i'm just going to eather trash the car or change the motor



(sorry to be mean but o well life gose on)

waste of a perfectly good motor probably, and a good car, tisk tisk tisk, people these days, that what these boards are for to help each other out, each other as in both ways
