Left Blinker won't......

What's up? I've got an 87 Firebird (stock), suddenly the left blinker stoped blinking. The right still works fine, the left won;t blink. When I hit it the light comes on and stays on. Any help or suggestions would be greatly apped........

Thanks

replacing the burnt out bulb in either the front or rear turn signal lights has fixed this problem for me in the past

That's funny, I was hoping it would it for mine. The front left was out so I replaced it, but no luck. Thanks for the reply:hail:

all of the rear bulbs are working, and the new front bulb comes on? I replaced the front bulb in my 87 camaro with the wrong bulb once and it didn't seat properly and didn't light up...

Yeah, all the rear lights work and the new front bulb works. The left turn blinker just stays on, and won't blink when activated. I have to make the thing blink manually. I thought that once I replaced the bulb I'd be OK but no luck, I'm lost. I'm wondering if theres a fuse or something I could check, but I thought that if it were a fuse neither of the two blinkers would work????? I don't know

Thanks

checking my service manual there are a few ideas, but only one that may help you

"If only some of the turn lights work but all hazard lights work, replace the turn hazard switch" (put on your hazards - do the left lights blink?

be sure to check the marker lights too!

Thanks alot bro, I just checked the hazards and found that since the last time I checked the lights one of the marker lights (front driver side) and the rear blinker are both out . I'll replace those and let you know how I make out. I really appreciate your help.....

Thanks again......:hail:
