Hello Will85iroc,
If you have a black wire there for ground, then the tan wire and the green wire would have to be for positive wouldn't you think.
BTW, the tan wire goes to the low beam side of the headlight switch.

from my schematics from the srvc manual, i know the blk is ground, lt blu and dark blu are for the turn signals/flasher.... so i was assuming the brwn wire is +pos source from when u hit the hazard switch to make the lights flash??? the park and sig bulbs are wired in parallel with brn being the common wire to all 4 bulbs..... the lt blu and dark blu are used to toggle each lite separalty for signal whcih direction your gonna turn.... if all this is true, how does the side markers get a ground???
(hope i said all that right....)

If you will look at your schematic, you will notice that the brown wire on the marker and parking light all goes to the park connector on the light switch and the light & dark blue wires go to the respective posts on the turn hazard switch. Correct so far? Now if you will look at the wiring for the marker and park/turn signal wires they are all linked together by the lights ending at the park/turn signal lights with a ground behind each light. The turn indicators in the dash are grounded to the dash frame.

thats what im trying to figure out, i see a brown and lite blue wire, the blue is coming from the hazard/turn sig switch and the brown goes to the manual light switch.... so if they both provide pos voltage, where is the ground?

You have two positive wires there because they are dual element bulbs.only one side is hot at a time and it alternates the ground side so instead of having a lot of ground points they used just the one at the end of the harness at the park/turn signal light.

the marker lights only have two wires, the park/turn are dual filaments... so what toggles the ground and pos on the marker lights????? and which wire is it??? thanks

The turn signal switch and the light switch. To make it a little simpler for you and hopefully clear things up here. When the turn signal is operated the brown wire becomes the ground wire for the marker lights. When the turn signal is not operating the dark & light blue wires become the ground wire.
