Uh. On both my 180* CS144 and 110* the ears are unthreaded. The holes on the bracket were metric thread, though. It's one of those threads that you can thread a standard bolt into and **** up the threads, ask me how I know.

On the back I don't recall. Pretty sure it was metric, though.

The better upgrade these days is to repin your harness and go with a AD244 alternator, which uses the same case as the CS130 and the CS130d, and the same plug as the CS130d. You can get them in stock configurations up to 145a, but a much higher amp output at idle than the CS130 or the CS130d, which is really what cars are starved for. Even the lower amperage AD244 offers much better idle amperage.
I did the AD244 upgrade on my 98 Tahoe. It was a direct bolt, even the stock wiring harness plugged right in. Id like to do this same upgrade on my car come spring but Im thinking the wiring harness and plug will be different. I did find a place online that sold conversion pigtails but I dont remember the site. Ill get on Google and see what I can find.
I cannot confirm if the AD244 is clocked correctly or if it will even drop in but Im sure its worth a try. The AD244 alternator comes in two amp outputs. 130 and 145A. I have been told that GM may have put higher than 145A units in the GMT800 Denalis and Escalades. I cannot confirm this.
I can confirm that the AD244 will work. Requires slight elongation of the mounting hole and an adapter harness (only if you want to keep your stock harness unmolested). I will post further details when I get time.
Keep us updated. Let us know if a longer belt is needed. I know I went with a 1" longer belt on my Vortec engine. Also let us know where you get your adapter harness from. Thanks.
