Thermometer stopped working after plug change

Hey guys, yesterday change the plugs my self for the first time. I was guided by someone who knew what they were doing. Well everything seemed to be going good, I put NGK V power coppers on, and some O'Reillys wires, but right after the change my thermometer just won't work... While working on the car I notices a write that was not connected anywhere it was hanging right over the manifold, so I am going to try to find where it goes. Also after the change I notice a weird sound coming from the passenger side. Sounds very much like a exhaust leak or a vacuum hose that loose or something. Note I was working being under the car with it being jacked up.

The sensor for the temp gauge in the dash is between the #1 and #3 cylinders on the driver's side.

Re: Thermometer stopped working after plug change

The metal part of the wire, under that broken plastic cover, slips onto the end of the sensor. The end of the sensor looks like a circle, and the wire slips over it.
