What is this plug!?!?!
im still struggling to figure out why my, courtesy/taillight/hazard fuses on the fuse box arent getting power. the first diagram reps RED (where its not getting power) GREEN (theres 2 orange plugs that go in there I just had them out at the time)
And the 2nd picture is what im lost at, Does this do anything??? looks like i def plugs into the back of the fuse box somewhere..
Guys the sooner I can fix this the better,
Thanks again

Re: What is this plug!?!?!
Check for power on the big red wire. It comes via a fusible link down by the starter. Headlight doors get power from there too.
Don't know what that plug is for but orange wires comes from the ctsy fuse and pink/black wires from the gages fuse (via another fusible link + key).

Or about off the fusebox.

Re: What is this plug!?!?!
Wiring diagrams say nothing about the color of the plug so I'm talkin about the color of the wires. I've never seen any reference to plug color in cars at all for that matter. Pink/black for instance means the wire is mostly pink but has a black stripe.
Once I found a handful of '84 T/A diagrams on the net somewhere, try some searches, it's really useful for reference.

Re: What is this plug!?!?!
I can't see your pictures here at work but Red wires are always hooked to battery power. If its dead you have a broken wire, blown fusible link or bad connection. Connections are at the starter or distribution stud by the core support near the battery. Orange wires should always be hot as well, I think they are after a fuse block.
Pink or Pink/Black are always keyed power (ignition must be on). Black/white stripe are grounds. After that it gets fuzzy on the color coding.

Re: What is this plug!?!?!
Well I poped the hood on my daughter's '84 bird and it doesn't have the junction block. The power feeds go from the starter directly to the firewall pass through. My '87 that had the block on the RH side of the radiator now has a 95 LT1 engine and wiring. So I can't provide a picture.
Sorry.

I'm home now so I can actually see your pictures. Here is the back of my daughter's '84 fuse box. The arrows indicate wires that were hot with the key off. You appear to be missing the double arrow wire. I can't find a connector like your second picture. Is it possible it will plug into that upper right hand position?
