88 GTA Headlight problem...

I have a 1988 Trans Am GTA and the driver side headlight is acting weird. It takes longer for it to come up than the passenger side and it hesitates when coming up. The motor doesn't hesitate, but the light does. But here is what im worried about, Even after the light is up or down the motor still runs for another 7-8 seconds. what the hell is wrong???

Yes... I even a lazy headlight.
I when to the local hardware store and bought the bushings (plastic spacer)
For $3 for a pair of them. You will need 3 for each side or buy longer ones and cut them in half for an extra $.50 I used a file to make them even with the motor. My Corvette has this problem first. Then my 90 Firebird has the problem....

The repair kit I sell fixes both symptoms you describe.

Re: 88 GTA Headlight problem...

I used the TPS kit and it worked really well on my 87 GTA. Very Detailed Instructions on how to fix the headlights with the 3 bushings on each headlight motor. The drivers side is harder to do than the passenger side though.
