Hi guys,

we need detailed wiring diagrams for the 1983 CrossFire system.

We have the generic diagram from AutoZone and Chiltons but we need diagrams that show the C100 bulkhead connector and the C207 by the ECM.
(the dumbass previous owner cut out the injection system and put a carb on the motor)

I searched and googled but to no avail.

We would appreciate any help.

the hanes manual for 3rd gen camaros actually has a
decent diagram for CFI system,my factory service man.
might too. If you cannot find,i could copy and send if
needed

 

You are right, I found a few decent diagrams but we are still missing the fuel pump circuit diagram.

I traced and cross-referenced all wires on the C100 and C207 but can't find the point of entry for the fuel pump wire. If you have that diagram or know which path the wire takes, we would really appreciate your advice.

I suspect the TAN/WHT wire on the C207 pin L but cannot find a single diagram that would reference this pin to confirm.

You have a red wire going from the fuel pump fuse to pin B7 on connector C100 to pin "A" on the fuel pump relay on the fire wall which then branches off to the oil pressure switch. There is a tan/white wire that runs from the fuel pump fuse to pin "L" of connector C207 which then goes to pin 17 of connector C252 on the ECM. Hope this helps you a little.

Print those 4 real scale and you have the entire system. It's from an 82 Corvette but it's the same as your camaro for the most part.

 

They are similar in some respects, however the wiring connectors are different.

 

The system should be the same, it's the same for 82 & 84 corvettes too (C3 & C4), the system is the same for the F bodies too. The labeling may be different but the layout should be the same.

 

I am not debating the layout of the wiring. I was only referencing the labeling of the connectors such as connector C100, C207, & C252. That's all.

 

This is EXACTLY what we needed, thank you, Trickster. I could not find this information anywhere else but deduced it from the only unlabeled wires on the C207 and the C100.
Thank you very much for the confirmation, now we can get the harness finished up and the car fired up tonight.

And yes, you guys are correct, the Corvette wiring diagrams match but the bulkhead and dash connectors differ from F-bodies.

 

Are the crossfire diagrams the same as the Berlinetta 305 diagrams? I am putting a TPI into my car, and I am trying to finish up the wiring harness. Will I just be able to hook straight onto the old harness with the painless harness? Thanks
