High beam issue

this question is very common . the switch itself , wich is attached to the column slips out of position . 20+ yrs. of flipping beams does that . a rod goes from the lever to the switch mounted on the column . remove under dash cover , move lever , find rod , find sw. , loosen mounting screws on sw. , move sw. up to remove slop from rod , tighten screws , good to go . good luck , try search function , lots more details .

Make sure your tilt wheel (if you have) is at the normal position for driving before you adjust the switch. The switch is located just above brake pedal.

hey in mine the plastic piece in the column fell out a few yrs ago when a budy had the wheel off how to i get it back in i put in place but it just pushes the rod out to the left instead of down activating the switch. any sugestions/pics????
