You probably have a bulb out. Make sure all parking lights and brake lights work in the rear.

Well replaced both from bulbs this morning, the dash light went off, and all my lights work except my driver side front, it won't flash with the headlights on, it just stays solid, the fender light flashes, the passengers both flash and the rear both work. Suggestions? Now if the headlights and everything are all off it flash as its suppose too

Re: turn signal dash light stays on
Is the driver parking/turn signal light brighter than the pass. light with the headlights or parking lights on? If it is, your parking light portion of the bulb is shorted to the turn signal light portion of the bulb. The bulb has 2 filaments in it. 1 for the parking light and 1 for the turn signal light. I bet if you took the socket and bulb out of the lense and turned on the lights, both filaments in the bulb will be illuminated. This could be caused by a shorted socket. Probably the most common cause. If it isnt the socket, then its going to be a wiring issue going to that socket. Also, make sure you have the correct bulb in the socket. It should be an 1157 or 2057 (not forsure which one it should be but either will work) and not an 1156 or 2056.

Re: turn signal dash light stays on
well passenger side is still messing up, i tried 3 bulbs in it, it is brighter than the driver side with the lights on, but wont flash if the lights are on, my rears work fine and my driver side, although alot dimmer than the driver side works and blinks fine with or without the lights on, the passenger will only flash if my headlights and parking lights are off, and its dim then. now i will say i never had this problem untill my accident and i just noticed it when i got my car back on the road. could a socket short out in that ammount of time? or should i look at the wiring?

1. Check to make sure the bulb is inserted the right way. It's not easy to put it in backwards (so that the bright contact on the bulb is on the dim contact in the socket), but it's possible.
2. Check to make sure that the socket wiring wasn't damaged in the collision, specifically the ground wire. And check both sides to make sure both body grounds are tight and clean of corrosion and/or paint. A turn signal indicator in the dash that is on dimly when the parking lights are turned on is an indicator of a ground problem on the side of the car that the turn signal indicator is lit on. This is caused by the power coming through the low beam and going back through the high beam instead of the ground like it's supposed to. And, as such, when you turn the signals or hazards on when the parking lights are on and the light goes OUT, this is another indication of a ground problem on the affected side. Same goes for the headlights.

The grounds for the front lights are on each side, where the harness passes through the holes in the radiator support, between the headlights. If you have or can get access to a DMM, check the resistance between the outer shell of the socket (where the shell of the bulb contacts) and the ground. Should be 0 ohms or close to it.

Well fixed it today, cleans out all the old bulb grease, put the bulbs in and had no lights, wiggled them around and they clicked in but the problem light went to the driver side instead of the passenger, so I flipped the bulb around and now it all works, so yeah lol
