Wiring advise needed Maf engine 91 camaro
Installing 86 Corvette maf engine that has vats which I will have the prom delete that .The car is a 91 so it has the vats system and the harness I am using is an 87 Camaro maf that has no wire in harness for vats, Can anyone tell me how and if i need to wire from the ign to the computer, I am old retired guy and think to much sometimes.Any imput would be appreciated Thanks Mike

Like he said, you are asking for trouble trying to bolt an '87 harness to a '91.

Running a MAF wont get around needing a tune which is what it sounds like you're trying to do
To run an older TPI harness in your 91, you'll have to repin the C100/C207/C221 on the 87 harness to match the 91's dash harness. IMHO, its easier to sell it and start with a 90-92 harness
If the 87 computer didnt have VATS and your 91 does, then the old ECM wont care, itll fire anyways. VATS will only remain in the starter enable relay, which will work like stock as long as your key matches the VATS module. Since it sounds like its just and engine swap, not a column swap, thats still kosher
