His Job makes It had for him to be home alot. As far as I know. But He will Get back to you. It took him a few weeks to fix my radio. Maybe a month. Cant remember. I understand though. I sent Him a UT4 radio and I was worried about it too.

He's a commercial pilot and isn't home often or for long but he does repair a lot of radios and does excellent work for a very reasonable price - did one for me and I couldn't be happier.
Patience, you have not lost your radio, it will come back to you.

Re: Anyone heard from *84ta?
I ran out of patience back in March. I tried not believing it,...... but it seems like I got screwed. There is just no other way to look at it at this point. My top of the line GMC/Buick CD EQ was defective after his first attempt at modifying it - now it seems like he's just going to keep it.
I was sending Matt a PM everyday for a few weeks,.... No response. I've also tried calling him on the phone,..... his voicemail box is full and can not accept new messages.
Unless he's flying non-stop around the world trips, there's no reason it's OK for him to just forget about us.
Kevin, he got 2 of my radios back in December 16'. I got so frustrated by March that I told him I wanted to get my stuff back - even if it was still untouched. In early April I got both back, One of the radios was returned fine & the other had several significant problems. Shipped the defective radio back because he was on Vacation and said he had plenty of time to correct the problems & I haven't heard from him - at all - since then.

Damn. Sorry you're in the same situation as I am. My radio was also an EQ radio. Seems he's choosing to keep that one too.
It's not hard to find him on social media but we shouldn't have to resort to that. It's too bad as I believed since he was a long standing member here it gave him some level of credibility and/or reliability.
First off, I hope he's ok. Second, if he is ok, I hope he follows up with us. Even if it's "hey, I can't get to this stuff, send me a few bucks and I'll ship it back to you".
