Bulkhead connector/ test for power C100 wires

Hi all,
i have no lights or cabin power. How do I backtest the c100 connections with a voltmeter? It looks like I have no fusible links at the starter, wires soldered together etc. Car is a project 1983 carb with a crate 350, runs great but only has brake lights and rear blinkers. The stereo turns on but is all status and the wipers work if that is any indication. I have the C100 diagram for my 1983 but not sure how to test it. I also pulled the switch out from interior to test. Thanks!

Pull the fuses out and see if there is power on the buss side? Then continuity on the fuses them selves

How do I test power at the starter first? I put my voltmeter in both posts and ground to the body and it reads zero. Battery reads 12.96 not running. Thanks!

Re: Bulkhead connector/ test for power C100 wires

ok I have measurable power at starter and one pin on the c100. Should I have more than one always hot at the c100?
I have power at some fuses but nothin gat the CTSY! Help, that must be my issue circuit. fusible link? I can't tell by looking at them so need to test continuity to c100 I assume. I have a voltometer but need to educate myself how to test for continuity. Ohms setting research in my future.
How do I test the fusible link @ the starter?

Re: Bulkhead connector/ test for power C100 wires

Fusibles tested ok, and I have power at the firewall on these 2 ports only, the pink and red I am holding in the attached.

If I have no power at CTSY I guess I need to chase from the firewall in cabin side. Are place I should look first as to why no CTSY power, lights etc

?

Thanks all!!

Using this as well.

So looks like I have no power from the firewall on plugs F4 and G5. Need to back track those now...
Fun fun fun…

Re: Bulkhead connector/ test for power C100 wires

Ok, success. G5 wire was out, looks like it disconnected somewhere along the firewall. Where does that connect? It is always hot so should I splice it in-line with the A4 wire? When I did that as a test the headlights and everything worked .
I just want to make sure I juice that G5 wire from the correct source.

A4 and G5 both run back to the starter. You cannot connect them together. It sounds like you have a fusable link burned out
