Power window question

I dont have a main harness in my car and i have my door panels off. I would like to test my power windows by splicing a 12 volt supply. Light blue and tan/blue stripe wires. Which one is positive up and then positive down or vice a versa?

Re: Power window question

Two pins on the motor. Positive to one, negative to the other, it'll turn one way or the other. If it's not going the direction you want, reverse your connections (polarity) and it'll go the other way. 50/50 chance you'll get it right the first try. If you get it wrong it's no different than bumping the window switch when the window is already all the way up or all the way down.

Re: Power window question

Thank you Drew/John worked great both windows work well. The drivers side unfortunately broke the "white plastic top stop guide" uggh and its riveted into the glass.
