Computer Codes and such

How do you read COmputer Code signs?
The information on the tech site dosent explain it well!

flash, pause, flash-flash, long pause flash, pause, flash-flash, long pause flash, pause, flash-flash, long pause Following this "12" code repeating three times will come any trouble codes stored,

ahhh yah they forgot to mention how u read the "OThER" Code signs. Like if its code 13 how would I know?
How do you know how to read the codes that it gives you.
LIke yah Ive read Flash flash flash pause.. and than agian..
does it just keep repeting it self, until it stops and u just count the Flashes u get?

Yes.. being able to count is an intergral part of reading code (take note of harmless sarcasim)

12 flashes 3 times... the stored codes (13, 44, 32,, whatever)... 12 three more times. Process repeats over and over until you take the jumper out.

It's been awhile since I've had to pull a code but, the pause between digits should be about a second, pause between numbers is like 2 seconds

When you turn the key on & jump the A-B terminal it should be like this (using you abbr. & 1"p"=1 sec)

FP FFPP
FP FFPP
FP FFPP

FFP FFFPP
FFP FFFPP
FFP FFFPP

FP FFPP
FP FFPP
FP FFPP

that would be 12, 23, 12. 23 being the actual trouble code & 12 being the start & end. When it repeats it will do the above code again. It's easy (for me) to get out of sync with the flashes.

I hope that's a bit more clear. If not I can scan alot better explination for you

Hmm.. I still think your count is off somewhere but,
it looks like you've got 12(normal), 23 & 33 (or so it looks at least).. I have no idea where the solo 4 flashes came from.

The count should always start on code 12, if I'm understanding what you put (which I'm probably not), the 1st # you get is a 4 (think I'm getting more confused than you now ) ?

code 12 would read like this
