Battery Drain
Battery Drain
I have a battery drain (.74 - 1.10) amperes that I have insulated to the 20 ampere fuse in the engine bay near the battery.
I know this fuse provides power to the ECM, fuel pump, mass air flow relay, and burnoff relay.
I have unplugged the wires at the relays I could locate in the engine bay and this had no effect to reduce the current draw.
The other strange thing is that if I pull this 20 ampere fuse and plug it back in, the ampere draw starts at 1.10 and slowly goes down to .74, but stays at .74
What can I do next to continue trouble shooting this problem.
I have already searched this message board for "battery drain" problems, but none of them provided the help I need to solve my problem. Would appreciate any help you can provide.

Try disconnecting the ECM & see if the curent drain goes away. If so, it may be a faulty ECM.
