big tube headers

hey, i have some big tube (1 7/8) headers they actually fit 1st gen smallblock. i was lied to and told they fit 3rd gen, so i tried them on. drivers side fit ok but passenger side hit the evap core housing. maybe they'll fit 3rd gen with some mods. they are made by hooker and sell for $519 new. im asking $150. thanks...

Can I get some pics? Do you think these would clear with a heat only box?

Re: big tube headers

i live near atlanta, ga i can e-mail some pics. my email is chevycamy@yahoo.com. i really wanted to use these. when they didn't fit it was just easier to use the set of shortys i already had. im sure with some mods the will work well. they are bigger than the primaries on my race car a little too much for my street car anyway
