So in the last picture the head on the right, To the right of the intake valve opening on bottom of the intake runner "junk" is written. Care to elaborate?

I wondered about that also. The 2 pairs of AFR heads I have put on, one new set and one used set were both in better condition. Those look like a rough cast version or something.

quick update seems like i've spotted these heads on ebay anyone know who the buyer was, makes me a bit weary to buy a set of heads through the net myself i've seen a few shady deals as of late

Almost all the car BB's I'm on are getting worse and worse with crooks. I only use Paypal now. Not that it's much protection but it's better than nothing. At least it makes getting info on the culprit easier even if you don't get your money back. I found out the hard way that for all the tough legal talk by the post office, a USPS M/O don't mean sh_it.

Spoke with Tony Mamo from AFR. He said, those are really old AFR
castings, not even close to current production, and money would be
better spend on new guaranteed heads. He wanted me to stress they are NOT eliminator castings.
Golens is selling them now, if anyone is wondering. The advertising is between AFR and Golen, I just wanted to make sure nobody gets scammed.
