Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

Most parts were taken off a 1985 Jimmy I parted out. All prices are best offer. I have pictures of everything so message me with an e-mail address to send to if interested. I'm willing to ship some of the more lightweight items, but shipping is not included in the asking price.

-Edelbrock 600cfm carb and performer intake manifold. -$300
Part number on the carb is 1406, and I will also include the air cleaner. It has an electronically controlled choke.

-700r4 transmission. - $150
About 75k miles on it. Speedometer gears are for 2.73. Came off an '88 TA.

-Set of cast iron cylinder heads. 75cc combustion chamber, 1.94" inlet/ 1.51" outlet valve diameter. -$95
Only had them on the truck for a few weeks before it seized. Said to have been rebuilt 20k miles ago. Part # is 3973487.

-Edelbrock Aluminum Valve Covers - $50
Perimeter bolt pattern.

-Chevy 350 short block, should be good for a rebuild. -$150
This motor overheated while driving. It still turns over but makes a terrible squealing sound and stalls out soon after starting. It had domed pistons and some kind of crazy reinforced oil pan that apparently doubled as a skid plate. It had two bolt mains, and the bore and stroke measure out 4.0"x3.48" which is spec for a 350, but I coudn't find a casting number on it.

-Edelbrock Torker Plus Cam and lifters. -$140
Part # is EDEL 5002. Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Advertised Duration 292/300, Lift .488/.488.

-Set of cast iron cylinder heads. 76cc combustion chamber, 1.71"inlet/1.51" outlet valve diameter. -$50
Part # is 3927185.

-Electronic, in line fuel pump for carbed motor. -$30
Only had it on the truck a few days. Part # E8012 Autometric.

-Starter Motor for SBC. -$30
Once again, practically new.

-Coil in cap style distributor with cap. -$25

-Accel Super Coil. -$35

-Assortment of gauges and tachometers.
-Small tach- $20 (never left the box)
-Larger tach- $25
-Gauge cluster for temp, oil pressure, and voltage - $35 (never left the box)
-Individual gauges for fuel pressure, vacuum, voltage, oil pressure, and water temp. -$10 each.

If you have any questions or would like to see additional pictures, feel free to email me about anything. I want to get rid of all this stuff, so I'll consider any reasonable offer. Thanks for looking!

Re: Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

The larger tach is a Sun Pro super tach II. It has a stand, but it's curved as though it were designed to be attached to an A-Pillar. I'll ship them anywhere in the lower 48 for $5 each. I'm hoping to have all the photos uploaded to my myspace page soon @ www.myspace.com/destructimus.

Re: Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

Pics of all the stuff are now all up on my myspace page, except for the 700r4. There's some stuff on there that's not thirdgen related because I have some stuff on craigslist too. Prices are listed in the first post. Here is a link to the photo album they're all in. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=3196283 I'll accept paypal payments to destructimus@gmail.com. You can e-mail me here as well, but please don't send me messages on myspace, I really hate that website and am only using it to store photos. If you want more photos of anything though, just let me know and I'll take them and send them to you.

Re: Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

Is that a T5, small nose, 153 tooth flywheel starter? If so, would you sell just the aluminum end housing, and how much shipped to 58258?

Let me know please.

Thanks.

Re: Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

I'm pretty sure that this starter hooks up to the larger flywheel that is mated to a 700r4 transmission. I thought I had an old one that came off my 'bird that would work for you, but I checked and it's the same. Sorry.

Can you send a pic of the fuel pressure gauge and water temp and vaccuum. If they match I will get them.

Those gauges both match, but I have a guy on craigslist that I think is going to buy them.

It turns out the guy is going to buy every gauge except one of the tachometers, the three gauge cluster, and the three that you want. If you want 'em, they're yours for $35 shipped. I'm also lowering the price of the three gauge cluster to $15.

Bump. I ended up never hearing from this guy again after he said he planned on buying them. Everything is still currently for sale. Let me know if there's anything here any of you want, and maybe we can work out a deal.

Re: Carb, cam, trans, block and stuff for sale.

Sorry but I don't plan on shipping the transmission. If I did, it would likely be through a freight company and cost over $100. You're better off looking locally on craigslist.

I know about the block casting number and where to find it. What I'm saying though, is it isn't there. The pistons say .030 on them so I think the block might be bored over and they filed off the serial number. I'm going to have to re-measure the bores.
