complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

I have a complete lt1 with a little over 100k miles with 4l60e trans. It is in a 94 z28. The car is complete but I haven't got a title for it. It was towed by a towing yard and never picked up so it was auctioned. I would like to get 1500 for the entire car or I would trade the lt1 and 4l60e setup for a COMPLETE 91 or 92 l98 with 700r4 in good condition. I was going to do the lt1 swap in my 91 z28, but I decided I would rather keep it relatively stock. I don't really have time to do the conversion. I drove the car before I started disassembling it and it ran pretty decent, but was running real rich. I am located in London ky.

Best wishes with the sale. That's not a bad deal at all, in my opinion.

I think it is fair. Complete setup for 3rd gen conversion with seats, axle, basically a whole car. There is nothing missing.

Re: complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

I have tried to post pics of the car for about an hour and just can't get it to work. If you want to see pics give me your email address and I will send them to you. If someone could help me out by posting them for me after I email them to you it would be greatly appreciated. I am having trouble with my camera and my pc. I can also text pics to someone if interested, just pm your cell# to me. This is a nice car. The body and paint are in good condition other than the hood and front bumper are peeling. The left rear floor pan has some rust, but I am going to weld in a patch panel as soon as the 10 inches of snow melts. lol, It is worth a lot more in parts, but I hate to part it out. I will if I have to though. I really want to trade it to a complete l98 car, gta or z28, or a 5spd v8 car rs, firebird, t/a, or z. Basically just a decent car of same value. Oh yea, it has 2 sets of interior, seats, door panels, etc. Light gray and charcoal. Definetly worth $1500 ALSO GOT A CLEAR 93 Z28 TITLE AND VIN# THAT CAN GO WITH IT FOR A LITTLE EXTRA $

Not really looking to part it out at the moment. I don't have the time to pull the engine out right now. I may part it out if I can't sell it in a month or two.

Re: complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

pics should be posted soon. They are really dark because I took them tonight after I found out a snow storm will be here before daylight. I will try to get some better ones posted asap. If there are certain things you want to see pics of, just let me know and I will get them as soon as I can. This would easily be a nice daily driver with little work. I had a 95 z28 automatic with just bolt ons, cai, headers, catback, air foil, pulleys, and programmer and ran 13.54 on street tires with major traction issues. These engines are really easy to make really quick. This setup in a 3rd gen is very quick. Fairly easy conversion to do as well.

I checked the drive time and it is 10 hours one way. I am working with a guy who is closer on a complete iroc l98 tpi at the moment. If that falls through, I will let you know, but I can tell you that you would have to come pick the car up. I can't drive 10 hours for just a drivetrain setup.

Thank you SO MUCH for helping me with those pics. I love this sight, everyone is really nice, no one craps on your threads, and everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am a true 3rd gen fanatic, and it is awesome to have people with my same interests to talk to and deal with. Thank you all for being so nice.

I'm so glad that I was able to help you. with you 100%, when I first bought my car back in May 02 I paid $600 on time because it didn't run. This 16 year old kid from Texas, among others, helped me so much until we got it running. I had never owned a 3rd gen before although I loved them. I had never worked on any FI engine and had no clue what TPI even meant. lol All my experience was carburated engines only. 8 and a half years later I've learned a little bit more and I continue to love this site, eventhough I'm also part of other sites.

You'll find good people around here that will help you as much as we can. We don't all know as much as some of them, but we try to help each other. Take care and good luck with the sale! I sure would LOVE to take it from you, but like I said, I can't afford it now...

I will take the salad shooter wheels off and replace them with a set of ws6 style, abs chrome 16" wheels with new cooper tires for an extra $200 if someone will buy it this weekend. I paid $192 a piece for the tires less than 1k miles ago. The wheels are in excellent shape. They are stock 98 wheels on my wife's car firebird.

Re: complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

Nice set of 98 trans am dark charcoal door panels come with it. That makes 3 sets of 4th gen door panels, 2 sets of gray/dark charcoal seats, 1 dark charcoal dash in near perfect shape, good airbags, one perfect center console, 1 dark charcoal carpet set. 1 set of light gray interior panels, and 1 set of dark charcoal interior panels. Also includes already installed new starter and two new uninstalled power window motors. T-tops seal perfectly. It has a black tail panel installed on it along with smoked tail light covers, which give it that 69 camaro ss look. I also have the original red tail panel and an extra tail light. Just the extra parts that come with the car are worth at least a $500. Someone buy this thing, it's almost Christmas time! I need some money, I got 6 kids to buy for.

To post pics here you need to first save the pics to a host, like www.photobucket.com, then you can post them here from that website by copying the codes and pasting them here.

I wasn't sure if you knew this or not.

I paid $1500.00 for my donor car, and I thought it was a great deal.

Bump for a great deal!

Re: complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

I am really needing to get rid of this car. My wife is driving me nuts wanting to drive my 91 z28, cause she loves 3rd gens about as much as me. I would love to trade this car to someone who has a nice 3rd gen, roller ok if it is a nice enough car. I would prefer an iroc or Trans Am, tuned port car. However I would take another v8 in the right car. I have got to get my wife a 3rd gen, cause she isn't going to drive mine, short of divorce. Please help save a marriage. This 94 car is a great deal. You could part this out and easily get $2500 plus. If the deal is right, I would deliver this car and pick up yours up to around 350 miles give or take depending on the trade. I would also consider to trade it to a low mileage or rebuilt l98, 350 to 383 complete. Maybe trade to a crate 700r4 rated for atleast 450 hp. Come on guys, someone needs this thing. I hate to part it out, but I will if I have to, but just hate to see another camaro go to the crusher. Just too much of that happened with cash for clunkers. This car could easily be a quick daily driver. They are a very potent engine with just boltons.

Re: complete 94 lt1 and 4l60e in 94 z28

I will trade this WHOLE car for a complete L98 and 700r4 ready to bolt in and start up. I need serpentine setup, radiator, fans, a/c system other than heater box, fuel lines from fuel tank to fuel injection, air filters, etc. My 94 has every thing you would need to do an LT1 conversion. Everything. It is was a running, driving car before I took the security system loose. If it doesn't sell soon, I am going to buy an old trans am or camaro and pay someone to do the swap for me, then I am going to proceed to beat it into submission. That would be a shame, but before I let it sit here and have to mow around it another summer, somethings going to happen. I can't believe no one has bought this car considering you would be hard pressed to find a complete LT1 for what I am asking for the car. I will take $1300 cash with the 93 title, or 1200 cash with no title if you can pick it up at my house. I will deliver the car within 200 miles of London Ky for $1500 and I will include the title.
