So it says that you have a t-5 setup, is that the setup these headers came off of, If so Im interested because hedman suck for slave cylinder clearance

 

My car is a t-5 car, you are correct (the lg4 part is kinda a lie though lol). Clearance was great with these headers. It cleared the slave well, and ground clearence was good. The headers weren't even the lowest part of the car.

 

im kinda confused on the crossmember? the pipes go underneath the crossmember in my car, how are they above it in yours? Theres like no room lol, the tranny would be touching the top of the tunnel damn near

 

your looking at the picture wrong. the crossmember is sitting on the pipes the same way it would be sitting on the car, you are looking at the topside. the pipes are under the "humps" int eh crossmember, and the trans sits on top with the mount sitting in the little valley between the two humps

 

Thanks for clearing that up 86TA lol Yeah, there is plenty of room under there for the pipes to run through. In fact, its almost over kill when it is bolted up. I wish I took pictures with the system on the car to give you a better look at it. Oh well... hind sight is 20/20.

The headers look like they have some rub marks on them. Were they rubbing against the frame,or anything ? And if you were'nt running an LG4, what engine did you have them on?

The rub marks came from removal, that's why I put some touch up header paint on them. (some things are hard to do alone) They fit in the engine bay well. Headers cleared everything. I would use shorter spark plugs for better clearance (NGK is my preference) but that's the case with any set of headers. I ran a mild 350 (400hp+??) with this setup for about 400 miles, pulled it. Gave it to my brother... Then ran a even more mild (250-300hp) engine from another build just to keep the car on the road.
