World Class T5 from '88 Camaro. $600/offer

Has bellhousing, pedals, shifter, flywheel and clutch. I thought I had the clutch fork but I'll have to look for it. $600/offer

... it's a type of the T5 transmission that came after a certain year, which is labeled "World Class" and has some upgrades.

I was told by AAMCO that the world class version of the T5 is a stronger transmission. hope this helps and again it is what I was told when faced replacing the tranny or rebuilding mine which is the "world class" version. I opted for rebuilding mine and sold the other one which turned out to be a non world class.

Re: World Class T5 from '88 Camaro. $600/offer

A world class t5 has roller sleeves under the gears on the mainshaft as opposed to bushings, and the countershaft has tapered roller bearings on either end which counteract the natural thrust of the gears in action a lot better. These transmissions have a higher torque rating than non world class t5s.
