Re: Wanted-Prop Valve

I have both... the pre pbr calipers use a 4 wheel disc comb valve which I have, the aluminum pbrs actually used the same as drums and I have 1 of those too

Re: Wanted-Prop Valve

the difference in the 91-92 combo valve between drum and disc is so tiny youll never know, alot of guys have keept the drum combo valve and the rear pads are wearing at 60-70% to the front. Gm does have to seperate combo valves listed but I talked to a GM tech whose a thirdgen buff a couple of months ago about switching mine, he told me about the 89 cut off for the course thread combo valves and told me to not waste my time or money for the tiny tiny bit of difference on a 91-92 combo valve.....

Re: Wanted-Prop Valve

Well here is my dilemma.I have an 89 vert and just swapped the drum rear with a pbr disc rear from an 89 formula.I havent checked the brake lines so im not sure which thread style I have.I grabbed a disc/disc prop valve from a junkyard 86 T/A but was looking for a newer 90-92 style one just in case my lines have the different threads so I wont get stuck

So if the pbr disc brakes use the same valve as rear drums would I even have to swap the valve since I have a disc/drum valve in there now?
