[PA] Rear suspension ISOLATOR needed
Rear suspension ISOLATOR needed
Hey guys - 88 GTA. I need to replace the two rear isolators that are placed directly above the rear suspension springs (circular rubber pieces). BUT - I am looking to RAISE the suspension in the back and am told that FOURTH gen isoloators would bring it up about an inch...which is PERFECT for my needs. I am having trouble locating them online (perhaps they are called something different) and am hoping you can help. Does anyone have a set of 4th gen rear isolators ('93 year and up...NOT Third Gen). THANKS!

Re: Rear suspension ISOLATOR needed
I just went to the dealership and got some. When they asked me for a specific year, I just randomly picked a '98 T/A. They fit perfect and leveled out the stance of my car.
Re: Rear suspension ISOLATOR needed
Thanks guys. Black - tried the dealer and they want like $25 PER isolator. Not sure a piece of rubber is worth that amount. Doesn't look like anyone has these laying around, so I did look through GMPartsDirect and found a set for about $30.00. Just waiting to hear back if they actually have these stocked or if it's a back order thing.
