Hey guys, its been some years since i been on here, but i am looking for a throttle body for a 91 Z28 TPI motor. Im hoping it comes with the sensors and stuff on it as well. I took mine off to clean it and when i tried to take the lower cover off for the IAC gasket, 3 bolts broke off and im just looking to replace the one i have. Let me know what you have, and if the price is good, maybe ill go for an aftermarket one if you have it. Thanks

Im not sure on a price. I am just trying to see what someone has and what options i have. I need to change mine because my TPI unit is messed up and i need something new/good condition used unit to replace it with.

 

That's real common becouse of the heat of the coolant corrodes the bolts. You can spray on liquid wrench and the wiggle the back and forth with small vice grips, if the y are flush I have spot welded on nuts and got them out that way. I have a new lingenfelter but you would need to use your tps and iac and lower plate..

 

Yea, i know i can get them out but i rather just replace the IAC housing on the bottom. That is why im trying to just replace the whole assembly. How much you asking for the TPS unit, shipped to 33162.

Must not be sloppy in the throttle shaft for 125, ive had 3 off ebay until I got one that didnt have a bunch of slop in it.

 

No slop, whatsoever. Sensors are relatively new. I am an original owner. Had one throttle body replaced by dealer. This is that second one. I am doing an LS swap and parting out.
