for a camaro i have a 91 rs i wanna put a 87 iroc tpi 305 in but i need the 90-92 harness and i dont think i have to change the ecm

 

If your RS is tbi the ecm would be a 1227746' you can use this ecm if you send it to dynamic efi and purchase there ebl and port fuel mod, the tpi maf used a 1227165 ecm 86-89 and the speed density tpi in the f body used the 1227730 ecm . There is a harness being sold in the classified section.

He also wants a Camaro harness. Battery location is different on the Camaro and the Firebird. You might want to get a 86-88 harness, 89 is a little different due to the deletion of the 9th (cold start) injector. I would get a 90-92 TPI intake and a 91-92 TPI ewh. I believe the 90 ewh was slightly different.

88 harness is setup for a serpentine belt setup. 87 and older have the bracket v-belts setup. IIRC the Alt. and A/C comp. are on the opposite side. You could modify those wires to work. I believe 85-87 Camaros had cable driven speedos.

 

ok i can get a 91 z28 ecm for $80 from advance and that should do the job right?.. now i just need the harness for a good price anyone can help me out
