LT1 A/C Delete Pulley and 1LE Duct Pictures

Here are a couple of pics of the new parts for my LT1 motor.
This is the A/C Delete Pulley so that you can run the serpentine belt with the A/C removed,

Part number is 10115875 and the my price is $41.04, list is $54.72

This is the 1LE Air Duct,

Part number is 25147187 and my price is $53.54, list is $71.38.

The fitting for the silencer tube is sealed. I am going to cut off that fitting so that it is flush.

hmm, i thought that the 1LE elbows didn't have a silencer

BTW does your A/C delete pulley fit your accessory bracket nicely?

I had to grind off a small amount in order to get mine to fit.

The 1LE doesn't have a silencer, I think the mold is the same for the 1LE and the non-1LE, they just cutout the hole for the silencer tube.

If you look into the that silencer tube fitting you'll see the it doesn't go into the duct.

My A/C Delete pulley also seems like it needs a little grinding.
One of the bolt holes doens't line up perfectly, the bracket needs to come up about an 1/8", it hits the bottom of the PS Pump.

That's weird, my AC delete pulley fit onto the LT1 bracket perfect....maybe because I was using an F-body accessory bracket and you're using one out of a Caprice?

That could be a possibility.
I am considering getting an LT4 hotcam kit and slapping that in since the motor is out of the car.
I am also going to change the front and rear seals as well as the oil pan gasket so that I know that they won't leak any time soon.

any other recommendations to do to the motor before I drop it in?

Thanks

Do you have emissions tests to pass?

I put on a set of headers and removed the EGR system.

Make sure to get the proper springs for the hot cam. Also it'd be a good idea to go to 1.6 rockers with the cam.

Take the oil pan off and check the pan gasket for condition before buying a new one. They are reusable.
I would highly reccomend the hot cam. I like mine alot.

I am getting the Hotcam kit minus the 1.6rr. Going to trade my SLP Dual CAI for it.

I was hoping to use my SLP CAI with my LT1, but it might not fit, so I guess I should trade for the cam and install it while the motor is out.
