bad odder after parked?

When I first start driving (ie shift into first) the iroc vibrates(but not when I shift into the other gears like 2nd thru 5th). Then sometimes when I come to a complete stop it'll stall. And when I turn the car off and open the door - I smell something buring(almost like to smell of old or rotten eggs). I have a new exhaust on it(I'm using the CATCO cat). I open the hood and there is no smell coming up. Then I went over to the cat I smelt it a little bit.

What could it be?

Sounds like you are running too rich. Check for codes.

A rotten egg smell usually means a clogged cat. I have the same one you do(Catco) and everythings fine for me on that end.

Check your clutch linkage... it may not be adjusted properly

Wait a sec... do you have a mechanical or hydraulic linkage?

If its hydraulic, its adjusts itself, so don't worry about that.

I have a hydraulic linkage(which is new from GM- master and slave are sold as one piece all ready gravity bleed).

My cat is new(as well as the entire exhaust, motor, headers, cat, mufflers... everything)

It's kill'n me know. I tried looking into it over the weekend and still no answer. I didn't have the motor running because I didn't have it on a lift. Maybe this weekend I can put the car on a lift and have it running. This past weekend I had the car jacked up and just looked around.

I think the rotten egg smell is just the smell from the new cat. The past two new converters I put on smelled the same way for a couple days. As for the vibration I'm no help.
