ok my swap had been done fro some time now. but never got around to posting the pics. so here they are. the swap was done in a 1991 firebird that had the stock 3.1L MPFI i dropped in a L69 305 HO motor out of a 1986 monte carlo SS i know i'm goign to hear crap from you guys BUT! dont worry its going back in the shop soon for a SBC 350 4 bolt main in its place VERY soon :-D here are the befor and after pics.

Thanks. i just can't wait till it gets out of the transmisson shop so i can drop in the 350. then i'm going to put a 383 stroker in it after i pay off some bills

 

got a question for u on ur swap how did u keep it serpentine cuz i am doin the same thing or close to it but i want to know how to keep ac and how i should do it either not serp or with serpentine is there a nice cheap kit out there for it and also did u keep that smog pump thing cuz all im keepin is power steering alternator water pump and maybe the ac if i can figure it out and also did u run into any major problems and if so what

 

i used the serpentine setup off od a 3rd gen V-8 and no i am not running the smog pump. i am full emissions delete other then the cat.

cost was alot... i lost count after like $1,500 and it took about a mo. to do

 

LoL let me tell you this... when i got the car the guy put 80's flowmaster on the car.. the V-6 sounded OK with the flowmaster but with the v8 in there now... i get the full deep sound of that flow now. i don't understande why anyone would put flowmaster on a v6 ...
