Your stock 305 pump will be fine

One burned by you and only you. Get ready to read and learn. Off the shelf chips are like mail order surgery. It cannot be done. You will also need larger injectors, a 350 knock sensor and ECS module.

This can be taken care of in the chip.

Are you planning to upgrade the cam in the 350? Now would be the best time when the motor is not in the engine bay.

where can i find info about burning chips?

whats wrong with the cam in it? its got enough horsepower for me for now. (another cam will cost more $ too and it would void the warrenty on the engine.)

Check out the DIY PROM board for more info. Also, read the stickies in the TBI forum for TBI specific tuning tips.

wow i was just reading some of the burning chips things and it seems so compicated i could never figure it out, and i dont have a lab top pc (it sounded like u needed to have a pc in your car or something, i dont even know its sooo confusing)

cant i just do the engine swap with a bigger tb and fuel pump and the air fuel sensor will adjust how much fuel i need?

i dont even really understand why i need a chip. im so lost.

can this guy burn me a chip?

Burning your own chips is that bad really. Sure it seems daunting at first but if you have enough computer skills to post on TGO you have enough to learn how to burn chips. The timing and fuel tables need to be changed. They are not adjusted by the computer and need to be changed as such. You can buy a lap top for $30 off of ebay to run the software you need. We are talking about lap tops that run windows 95 or 3.1 and that are 8 to 10 years old.

.
He can get your car to run but he will leave a lot of performance out of the final equation. It may be a good start to get things going (make your car run and idle) but if you want your motor to run how it should you will have to take it to the next level and do it yourself.
