nope, only engines that will drop right in + tuning are the 2.8-3.1-3.4, reason is is they are all 60* engines, just like the SBC, where the 305-350-400 are all the same on the outside, inside is bored/stroked differently to make the extra cubes.
It is possible to drop in a 3.8, but its alot of custom work, with this kind of work it becomes cheaper to drop in a v-8, and much more rewarding. Anything is possible, what are you planning on doing with the car?
If you are just looking for more power out of a new engine, then i recomend a 3.4, do some headwork and a better cam, and you could see 180rwhp, compared to the 90-120rwhp out of the 2.8.
Want more info on the 2.8-3.4 swap? Check out the Swap Boogie on the tech section at the home page.

He didn't say the SBC was 60 degree. He was speaking of the v6's not being the same externally, as SBC's are.
As to putting a GN engine in a 3rd gen, that's discussed in the home page FAQs https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/faq/thirdgen.shtml , about a forth of the way down the page.

Agreed, but you stopped too soon.
Repunctuated, with additional words added in italics for clarification, it would be: "The only engines that will drop right in + tuning are the 2.8-3.1-3.4, reason is is they are all 60* engines.
