Yes, but I wouldn't attempt it without a tilt style lifting plate.

You might beable to muscle it in there with someone else helping. The tilt style I was talking about have a lever on them and you can adjust angle load by cranking them. Remember to cover the tailshaft or you might end up packing dirt or gravel in it.

I am pretty sure i can get it in without any trouble!!! lift motor with tranny then push car under it. The last time i did this was without the tranny but alone.

it will be fine, once you get the tranny basically where it needs to be under the car, jack it up with a jack on the tailshaft to level out the motor/trans into the chassis so you can put in the motor mount bolts.

first i put the front on blocks, then i take off the bumper and use a cherrypicker, i belive u can rent one if you dont have one. once its mostly in u have to floor jack the trans up in. i think thats easier than removing the trans by itself, i cant get my arms in to unbolt the bellhousing bolts.

If you do rent one, try to get a non-collapseable one. There a little more of a pain to move around, but usually have a longer reach on the boon. On mine I didn't even have to extend the boon past 1/2 length and I left the bumper on.
