Headaches or kinks,well yes.
1) AIR tubes on the SLP headers.
2) Sensor fittings.
3) Oil leak at valve covers, center bolt covers would not fit heads. Stock 305 covers.
4) Starter getting fried by headers.
5) Minor assessories adjustments.
Nothing major.

Car: 1985 Z28
Engine: 383 forged, B&M 144 supercharger
Transmission: Art Carr 700 R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt G92
Congradulations, I have nearly the same combination and I love it. I'm also an original owner. I replaced the LG4 with a crate 350 in my 85 Z28 3 years ago @ 160K mi.Have since placed the 1 3/4 SLP hearders and Cat Back and added dual Cats. I have the WP heads but not installed. Have a B&M roots blower to add as well. The set -up in CHP mag ( 1999) showed 470 hp on the dyno. Now if I can only find a week off from work.

On their tech sheets (available on their web site www.worldcastings.com), World Products states that the perimeter bolt bosses have to be ground down for center bolt covers to fit their S/R or Sportsman heads.

Thanks for the info. I e-mailed World Products and they said the perimeter Bosses
require grinding on the 1987 and later heads.
Will give it a try when I receive my new valve covers, they may have more clearance on the mating face.

Check web site for AllChevyEngines. The car is 1987 IROC-Z. Cost for install reasonable,
19 hrs Labor plus normal install parts. However; I spent too much buying extras. Like
I said, its a New Toy.
