Re: 350 tpi to 350 carb

The PO off my car swapped in a carborated 327 and I am in the process of removing wires. I have an auto though so I have to leave in till I figure out what to do with torque converter lockup

Re: 350 tpi to 350 carb

so if i keep the tpi ,will i have any trouble with the 5 speed if i decide to change the car over to manual. i was told that the 350 tpi's blow the 5 speed tranny's up. is that true.

Re: 350 tpi to 350 carb

A 350 can blow the trannys up with a tpi or carb. If your set on a T-5, rebuild it with all g force parts and baby it.
