Did you try GOOGLE?
Casting # 10054727
350, 86 and up, 2 or 4 bolt main, one piece rear main seal, some made in Canada.
Obviously a casting used for multiple applications; 4 bolts most commonly used in trucks
Only thing that would narrow it down further is the 3 letter code off front block pad

Sorry I forgot to add that I did google it but wasn't sure if I could get more info.

No need for Google when it's available right here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...g-numbers.html
The casting # won't be able to tell you any more than that.

That will be the last part of the VIN from the original vehicle. Look for a code that looks like V1207TRK

Okay, stupid question - Why???
Everything you could possibly need to know about the engine can be determined by looking at it or measuring (like if it's be overbored or the crank has been ground - which knowing what it came from will NOT tell you).
If you're wondering about the cam, why? It should be a given that it will not be in the engine anymore when the engine goes into your car. You can tell by looking in the lifter valley whether it has roller lifters or can accept them.
Heads? Same answer. Look at the casting #. That will actually tell you more than the engine code.

I had just a stock rs before and never really had to do anything to it but I got t-boned before anything ever messed up and now the one I have the guy stuck a 350 in it and rigged up a bunch of stuff and I'm just starting to learn about everything.

Re: Can someone help me figure out where this 350 came from.
It should have been on that pad. It's possible the block was decked and some other number sequence is stamped there now. That doesn't look like an ending to current VIN numbers but the block casting says it should be a late model block.
Since very little will be original, what the block itself came from means very little. Once you get it decked to make sure the surface is perfectly straight, those numbers will be gone also.
Best guess from those numbers is that it's a 1987 block and from the casting number, it falls in the 86 and up range.

I would guess that it was a replacement engine. Both the partial VIN and the engine s/n should have been stamped on that pad.
So, got a pic of the head casting #? How about a pic of the lifter valley? Those two will tell us a lot.
