What are the head casting #'s? (BTW, you reversed the intake & exhaust sizes. Most exhaust valves are 1.50" or 1.60" - never heard of 1.64", but that doesn't mean they don't exist.)
What is the cam's duration?
Distributor - a large cap/coil-in-cap HEI is about as simple as you can get.
Fuel management - when you drop the fuel tank, are you going to put in a better in-tank pump, or remove it and convert the pick-up to mechanical pump type?

you know what i thought the same thing but my exhaust valves are the substantially bigger and i should say i believe thats the sizes i think you're right it should be 1.60, i had a local machine shop check em out just to be sure cause another local guy did them that not too many people are real big fans of.
as far as fuel management i've seen a lot of guys do a electric inline that runs between 5-7 psi, I do plan to remove the intank pump though, whats your advice on the mechanical against the electric inline?
here's a pic of them and castings end in 882
and cam duration is 256and 268 ex

I was afraid of that. Just about the worst heads the factory every produced. No amount of work improves them.
Okay, that's a fairly decent cam.

yeah i know i saw that when i pulled the specs, ill be happy just to get the 350 running at this point car is my daily driver and it was really my best option.
and ok i'll look into the regulator set up my question about it is though why do i have to upgrade the pump to regulate it down so much?

It's a pressure/volume thing. The TBI pump is good to about 250 or so HP at carb pressure levels. Most likely yours is weaker than it was new, though, so get a better pump that can supply sufficient volume at 4-7 psi. A replacement TPI pump should be up to the task.
