anyone runing an rpm air gap with a carb wanted to know if iy will fit under the stock hood

I have a performer air gap with a holley 670 and it fits fine under stock hood. Not sure if the RPM air gap is taller, but guys are running them on here.

It sits up real high... I seriously doubt it will fit.

Performer rpm air gap is the height as the non air gap performer rpm.

There's an air gap, and an rpm air gap. I know I run a performer rpm but also a 1" spacer. Even with a RAII hood it won't clear without a 2" dropped base air cleaner. With a stock hood and a performer rpm you would need a drop base and even then its going to be tight.

won't fix got one on my 383 and without the air cleaner the hood hits the top of the carb won't latch

i have an edlebrock rpm performer air gap and it deff dont look like its gonna fit at all the carb is over the fenders with no air cleaner so i need a hood or gota get the saw out how much of a cowl u guys think is needed to make it work
