Factory Serpentine on 454

So Kwik Performance makes adapter plates that allow the use of the factory serpentine system from an 88 to fit on a 97 454. The problem i am having is the power steering pully just comes into contact with the steering gearbox so i am thinking a smaller pulley should fix my problem. Does any know of a pulley that will work by chance or has anyone else used this setup and had another solution?

There are a lot of PNs tossed around on LS swap discussions. Look out for the two diff. pulley i.d.s to match your pump.

Ran into this issue using bbc serp. My thought was to use the ps pulley off of a 3.1 v6 maro. Smaller in diameter but I cannot tell you if it will align correctly as that project has been abandoned a long time ago.

This pulley will work. It's about 3/4" smaller, if I remember correctly.

I had to use one of these on my LS swap, due to the accessory drive I was running; the V8 pulley was going to interfere with the routing of the belt.

I have never done a BBC swap on one of these cars, but I can attest that the smaller V6 pulley will run your power steering just fine. It's just going to turn the pump a little faster.
