i need some wires that can take the heat of my new headers. Three of the boots on my accel wires squished out between my fingers when i went to take them off. Not pritty. What wires work for the rest of you? I have edel. tes headers and they get pretty close to the boots so ill try to see if i can find shorter plugs or soemthing.

180* Taylors work very well for me. I've never burned up Taylors on headers before.

8mm Accels, next time MSD though. I also have heat sleeving on them, wire looms (a must), and MSD wire separators.

After burning 3 wires I learned my lesson.

i have looms and everything but the radiant heat coming off the primaries parked in front of the boots was enough to reduce them to goo.

Whats in my sig has worked for a long time with no problems. I don't use wire looms so the are not a must, but if you use them they will definitely look nice. Coated headers will help.

I use Jacobs 8.5m wires. Work great for me and have a lifetime warranty.

i replacedt eh damaged boots and used soem ez-foil disposible bake pans to make heat sheilding around the boots and wires. The boots seem to be at a much lower temp. After i shut the engine down i could touch the boots w/o getting burned. Pretty getto, but it seems to be working.
