best gaskets for TES headers/

I got the TES headers for my 88 IROC, they are used and without a gasket. What is the best gasket that you guys have used. One that dosen't blow after a week, I'm willing to spend the money for a good one.
Some examples
MR Gasket copper
Flowtech multi layer dead soft aluminum
Or your suggesstions.
Also a square port or square, the ports on the headers aren't actually very square. 1.5 or 1.45. Thanks

I have heard nothing but good about copper gaskets. I have had good experience with gaskets from Fel-Pro.

I've got some of those aluminum ones, and they work great. They cost like $30 though. Kinda pricey, but worth it. I went through two sets of Mr Gasket paper gaskets before I wised up and got the aluminum ones. And they're reusable. If you want to be extra careful you can get those stage 8 locking header bolts too. I haven't needed them with the aluminum gaskets, but with the paper gaskets, I actually had a bolt fall out!

I'm pointing myself towards the aluminum ones the price is $30, really not that bad. I took the TES to the store and held them to the gasket the gasket ports seemed a little to big. The openings were 1.5 square. But they should fill everything in once compressed. Also any suggestions when installing those headers. Thanks

My original Edelbrock supplied gasket blew out after a few months. I bought a standard FelPro "blue" exhaust gasket and it has been in for a few months and so far no problem.

I have a set of the Felpro 1404s they have worked well for me. IM using Felpro thru out my new motor. The quality is much better than stock replacement.

I had the same problem with the supplied gaskets. That passenger side header is a bitch IM not looking forward to doing that again.
