Need some help about Ceramic Coating..

I was looking at the Jet Hot site, and they offer a coating 1300, which I assume is good for up to 1300* right?

Then there is a 2000* one. Only bad thing is they don't offer the Sterling in the 2000* one.

I know I had sprayed some 1200* paint on before and it burned off, will the 1300* Jet Hot coating be ok?

I'd prefer to have the sterling coating.

OK Mark, I'm willing to bet you didn't thermally degrease your headers, then blast them twice with aluminum oxide. Instead, like the rest of us who live in the real world, you probably did the best you could with what you had, right? Also, paint just won't last as long as ceramic coating under the best of conditions and that's why we spend the big bucks, right? Actually, if I read my info correctly, the 2000* stuff is for extreme high temp applications (turbo, rotary engines, off-road) so if you don't plan to regularly beat the wee out of it, i think the 1300* Sterling should be OK. That's what I'm saving my pennies for. BTW, if you don't have one already, Jet-Hot sends a nice brochure if you inquire. Hope this helps.

Thanks lastvice, you're right, I just sprayed the chit on there, lol.

I just noticed the 2000* being heavy duty.

I think their site said normally 2-3 days after they get it.

IIRC they were pretty quick. It was like 10 days total to them and back to me. Nice job and good company to do business BTW.

And how much is it to get the headers done inside and out?? Didnt someone say about 180$ or so?? Is it really worth it? After I sell my dual setup I might send my hooker shorties in and have them done. Then get a y pipe made. If not im just gonna get the TES 6872s and be done with it. Unless I can scrap up the cash to get a set of hooker 2055s or coated 2055s.
