Cutting Exhaust Tips

I have a Stock Exhaust on my car 305 TPI- One CAt..... Dual out Muffler.......Would cutting the Tips from the muffler Get a more aggressive sound???

No, just get a preformance exhaust. cutting the tips off might just make it a tad bit louder, but that would be a waste of time

Actually it does work, but I wouldn't do it just for that, I had to.

Well I have the Stock Exhaust on a 5.0 with single inlet- dual outlet...And am thinking if I cut the dual outlets but like a foot then it'll sound a bit meaner

It will, but its not ALOT different so much that makes it a must do thing. If u did something to your pipes and they don't look good now, then I'd do it, but tailpipes look cool.

Humm thanx guys....I fixed the problem it seems when the guys at Monro did the job the put the pipes too low..they looked too big So I loosened them and tucked um under so nobody can really see until there up close...cause ya could see em from like a mile away... lol
