I just got a dynomax cat back plus the cat, Im not sure of part#, but it kicks @55. I can really feel the difference and
it seems to widen my power band.

i believe this is the same setup i'm wondering about in jeg's, its referred to as header duals, but they will not bolt up to a certain # dynomax headers. any info is greatly appreciated.

this system confuses me too. When I tried to contact dynomax, they just kept telling me about their catback systems for my app. Pissed me right off. Anyway, these dual kits from what I know are desgined to be hooked to their cyclone or blackjack shorty headers. These systems are 2 1/4 pipes that are not mandrel bent and they are designed to work with Dynomax's turbo mufflers. All I want to know is if these systems exit out the back of the car or in front of the rear wheels. I can't seem to figure it out.

I'm almost positive that this kit is one that exits right before the rear wheels. I could be wrong though....

Re: Experience with Dynomax dual exhaust kit?

just incase theres confusion on this kit (the dynomax kit from jegs), that require a certain header: they are True duals. the only true duals for third gen camaros ive seen. unless ofcourse u have someone do a custom job for you or do it yourslf. it replaces all the way up to the headers. so you have to fit the two pieces of pipe they give you where the ypipe use to be, and it's the two all the way back through the driveshaft tunnel (kinda like stock exhaust, with 2 mufflers at the end of the car. it's kind of a tight fit and takes time to get it sitting right and snug. since it takes up more room being tru duals. But i'm liking the setup. if anyone else knows of other true dual header back kits for these cars, please let me know
